Join the JW-Jones Blues Band Street Team and Online e-team

Want to become part of a community of like-minded fans, dedicated to spreading the word about the JW-Jones Blues Band? Many of you have been doing just that for sometime already, simply in return for the band bringing you 'years of listening pleasure!' Now, not only can you continue to help promote a great Canadian Artist in your community but be rewarded for your efforts as well. Activities will be generally centered on the following tasks:

• Handing out promotional material at a JW-Jones Concert, sometimes inside and sometimes outside the venue.
• Alerting us of articles from your local papers about a JW-Jones performance, album review or interview.
• Find, and get permission, to use good display locations for the posters (e.g., around the club or other venues where we will be appearing, music store bulletin boards, record store windows, etc.).
• Radio request campaigns.
• Stopping by your local record stores to ensure JW-Jones Blues Band records are in stock.
• Web Link development.

In return for your efforts, you will receive V.I.P. treatment at any local show you’ve helped promote. This includes free admission, the best possible seats, and a chance to meet and maybe even hang out with the band in person.

Our Street Teams will also get the V.I.P treatment from us! We will send you our latest CD before it hits the stores, T-Shirts and/or other promotional items we have in stock.

While we'd love to have all of our fans on the Street Team, we need to make sure that we use our well-developed resources (both time and material) wisely. We're looking for a few conscientious, hardworking men and women who are at least eighteen years old and are one or more of the following:

• Radio DJ
• Arts/entertainment reporter/editor or music critic for: Radio , TV, Local/college newspaper, Local entertainment weekly , e-Zine, fanzine, web, etc.
• Members of a Blues Society
• Owner/employee of a record or musical-instrument store (or even a good customer/friend of one)
• Connected professionally or personally with local clubs or other entertainment venues
• Musician
• Someone with entertainment-marketing experience (doesn't have to be music)
• Book entertainment for company events, college/community concert series, festivals, etc.
