The money you are donating is going towards the land purchase fund for Blue Skies Music Festival.  This type of donation will mean a lot to the festival, especially in terms of long lasting impact. 

It also has an element of long term bonding between Gabe's spirit and the land at the festival. 

It should be noted that quite a while ago, Gabe said that when he dies, he would like his ashes sprinkled at Blue Skies. 

On July 29th, 2005, his request was honoured.

Half of his ashes were sprinkled at the festival, and half have been buried at Pinecrest cemetery in Ottawa.
